Provides more power and RPM throughout the entire RPM range. One of our counterweighted crankshafts is highly recommended to achieve maximum case life. Also extends the RPM range considerably dependent upon head work. Even with stock heads and a stock camshaft, dual springs are highly recommended and are mandatory on ported and polished heads or with any high performance camshaft. A counterweighted crankshaft is mandatory when a high performance camshaft is used. Sets fit sedans, bus, baja, buggies and KG. KG must remove engine lid springs to clear the air cleaners. 1968-1971 bus will require removing the stock VW air cleaner mount from the body by drilling out the spot welds. Can be used for power brakes by installing a "T" in the balance tube. Works with engines from 1300cc through 2300cc. You must jet to match your engine's demands, as we have no way to determine the actual vacuum signal your engine will provide even if we sell you all the parts.
